We are currently seeking a digitally-savvy and entrepreneurial-minded contractor, two streams exist

 

Digital marketing and Multimedia

Has background and/or education in digital marketing, social media advertising and/or digital video to work in Abuja. This position will enjoy the freedom to utilize and develop skills in any or all of the constituent tasks: social media campaign planning & execution, developing & testing ad creative, ad operations, budgeting & media buying, general digital marketing, email marketing and advertising & website reporting.  Preference will be given to applicants who have experience and/or demonstrable aptitude with some of the following tools and disciplines: Facebook Business Manager, Email marketing apps, Twitter Ads, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, other web and advertising analytics tools & platforms.

 

Administration and Finance

Has background and/or education in accounting, finance, CPA and/or business administration to work in Abuja or remotely. This position will enjoy the freedom to utilize and develop skills in any or all of the constituent tasks: financial accounting and reporting, online book-keeping, management accounting, keeping track of expenses, creating and reviewing payment requests, finance system development, planning & execution,  operations, budgeting & procurement, financial reporting. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience and/or demonstrable aptitude with some of the following tools and disciplines: Kashoo Accounting Software or Quick Books, Payroll tools and other bookkeeping and financial management tools & platforms.

 

All positions

This contractor position will allow the selected individual to serve the Directors in their projects on real estate, hospitality, leadership development and in the start-up space through the programs we are creating as well as in existing projects. 

 

Contractors will also show their expertise through direct interaction with our Director and small team of staff, and clients. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

All

  • Develop strategy and tactics to address executive's, organisational and client needs
  • Create, manage, and optimize systems using available online platforms 
  • Conduct best practises research to inform strategies within similar business models.
  • Other tasks as will be assigned in your area of skill.
  • Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners

Digital Multimedia

  • Spearhead multimedia and digital marketing projects
  • Record videos on-site using provided tools and edit these in a timely manner for use in digital marketing
  • Manage executives’ projects, due dates, deadlines and set up meetings as requested

Admin

  • Oversee the performance of other clerical staff
  • Act as an office manager by keeping up with office supply inventory
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage executives’ projects, due dates, deadlines and set up meetings as requested
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements as needed
  • Rack daily expenses and prepare weekly, monthly or quarterly reports
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
  • Take minutes during meetings
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
  • Organize and maintain the organisational filing system

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree minimum
  • Demonstrable aptitude, interest in, and passion for projects in the area of skills.
  • Knowledge of and at least some experience with the expert-level tools and interfaces
  • Comfort with basic statistics and numbers and the ability to use data to show why, for example, a project is performing better than another
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Powerpoint and Excel
  • Plus: Some experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator or any other image creator.

 

Qualified candidates must also possess the following competencies:

 

  • Exceptional communication both verbal and written
  • Knowledge and understanding of company’s principles, policies, procedures and standards
  • Ability to apply experience based knowledge and leadership skills toward organizational goals
  • Strong sense of initiative, requiring little direct supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working independently or in a team
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment to make decisions toward the objective of satisfying all brands
  • Problem solving skills required
  • Ability to work with difficult customers in difficult situations
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to self-troubleshoot

 

  • Compensation: Contractors work a part-time or full-time schedule and are compensated with a small stipend as well as on time basis. The probation period is 6 months. Please do not apply if you will be working on any other job at the same time. Candidates must be ready to commit to at least a 3 months work period and there is a possibility for exrension of employment on good performance.
