We are seeking several virtual assistants for the role of Executive Assistants with a possibility to grow to lead departments with successful work.
We are a training and personal development company looking for several virtual assistants who are well versed in many different areas of business and who understand the nature of a startup which can sometimes be chaotic and unstructured.
First and foremost you are a time and project manager who understands and can recommend various platforms for our start-up needs. You know enough about tech to help fix issues or know how to get the issues fixed.
You are someone who is self-managing and never misses a deadline and thrives in a fast-paced multi-tasking online environment.
You will be working closely with one of our founders through Plutio (like Asana and Slack combined) and Zoom so experience using these systems is essential.
Several streams exist that you can choose to work in (choose one and indicate your selection when applying):
1. Financial and operation analyst
You would look at the financials and operations of the company, make reports, and brief the executives every week. You would carry out the accounting, you would also be expected to provide recommendations on managing overhead costs and to expand customer base together with ideas for business process improvements.
2. Media & Technology Assistant
You will dive into the exciting world of ed-tech, and support the implementation and maintenance of technology and media resources within our organization. You will be responsible for assisting in the management of digital and multimedia content, including audio, video, and digital assets, ensuring their accessibility and optimal use across various platforms. Duties may include setting up and troubleshooting technical equipment, providing technical support to staff or clients, updating and maintaining websites or digital platforms using WordPress and other CMS’s, using JavaScript, typescript etc, and assisting in the production and editing of digital content. The role requires a blend of technical skills and creativity, with a strong understanding of current media trends and technology tools. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to effectively support the diverse technology and media needs of the organization.
3. Social media and marketing assistant
You would have a keen eye for design and are comfortable overseeing our social media platforms and can manage, post, and make recommendations on how to improve what we already have.
You understand email marketing and a plus would be if you have prior experience with email marketing and marketing in general.
4. Video show and podcast production assistant
You have an outgoing personality, and are comfortable with professional email, messaging and phone outreach. We host online shows that are growing in our industry. We would need your help to get us great guests relevant to our show focus. You would generate personalised emails such as common things between us and them and develop communications (we would do this together, and / or with direction). We aim to produce over 1 to 2 episodes a week for each show. Someone with a sales background would be great, but, to our guests I'd like you to take a customer service/PR approach. We're not "Closing people" we are encouraging them to be a guest. You will need to be comfortable with following our process for quality and professionalism, Online Research, Finding emails, Connecting via LI/ FB or other platforms, PICKING UP THE PHONE when needed, Getting guests on our calendar
5. Sales and Telemarketing assistance
Most importantly: be nice, be cool, be polite. Fluency in English, communication skills , customer orientation (empathy) , attention to detail, at least 1 year of B2C or B2B telesales experience. Ability to engage the senior business leaders, strategically build rapport and handle objections.
Nice to have would be confidence communicating with high-level executives and professionals, training industry experience is a huge plus, Self-motivated and confident with a results-driven attitude, Robust multitasking skills (e.g., able to log calls and interact with the customer simultaneously)

You will need to be comfortable with regular update meetings with the team to plan and strategize, For the hiring process we will be giving out short test tasks with video interviews as needed for shortlisted candidates. The first 12 weeks of working will be probational and payment based on a per task accomplished. During this probationary period, you may start on 50% of the pay scale based on your skills assessment.
