Role Overview
As a Virtual Intern – Climate & Conservation Program Development, you will support Upani in shaping and advancing new projects that focus on environmental conservation, climate resilience, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research on conservation strategies, climate action frameworks, and sustainability best practices.
Support the design of new environmental and community programs, including drafting proposals and concept notes.
Assist in creating presentations, reports, and awareness materials.
Collaborate with the Upani team through virtual meetings and digital tools.
Contribute ideas for community engagement campaigns around conservation and sustainability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or current enrollment) in Environmental Studies, Climate Science, Sustainability, Development Studies, or related fields.
0–2 years of relevant experience (students and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply).
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
Plus: Experience with data visualization, GIS, or digital media tools is an advantage.

Compensation: Contractors work a part-time or full-time schedule and are compensated with a small stipend as well as on time basis. The probation period is 6 months. Please do not apply if you will be working on any other job at the same time. Candidates must be ready to commit to at least a 3 months work period and there is a possibility for exrension of employment on good performance.
