We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistants for long-term positions in Northampton. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of young children in their formative years. Your passion for education and nurturing attitude will help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

-Assist the classroom teacher in planning and implementing engaging activities tailored to young learners.
-Provide one-on-one and small group support to children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
-Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
-Encourage children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured activities.
-Help maintain classroom organisation and prepare learning materials.
-Observe and document children’s progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
-Support children with special educational needs and adapt activities accordingly.
-Engage with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children’s progress and well-being.

 

Requirements:

 

-A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development. 
-Relevant qualifications in early years education or childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ, or equivalent).
-Previous experience in an early years setting is highly desirable.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
-Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
