Teaching Tomorrow, a highly respected recruitment agency in Milton Keynes, are looking for a year 1 teacher to start in September on a full-time basis for one year.

 

This role includes planning and marking responsibilities at a very good and improving primary school in the Milton Keynes area. As a year one teacher, the school would like someone with Key Stage 1 experience.

 

Starting in September when the new academic year begins, this allows both a fully qualified teacher or ECT primary teacher the perfect time to settle in. Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT
  • Strong and successful Year 1 / Key Stage 1 teaching experience
  • Must be available 5 days a week
  • Comfortable covering lessons across the national UK curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 1 students, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Utilise strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to support student development and maintain classroom discipline.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and teaching practices.
  • Uphold the standards of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in all teaching activities.
