Teaching Tomorrow is partnering with a reputable school in Abingdon to seek a dedicated Geography Teacher for the period from September to December 2025. This position requires teaching at a 0.6 FTE and will require full planning and marking responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging geography lessons to students.
Create comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
Conduct thorough student assessments and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements for this role:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Geography or equivalent experience.
A genuine passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire students.
Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical understanding.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective classroom management skills.
A commitment to the safeguarding and well-being of all students.
