Teaching Tomorrow is seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Computer Science for a secondary school in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the department, shape the curriculum, and inspire students to achieve excellence in computing and digital technologies.

The Role:
As Head of Computer Science, you will:

  • Lead and manage the Computer Science department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement schemes of work and curriculum planning.
  • Support, mentor, and appraise teaching staff within the department.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring excellent outcomes across all year groups.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, engagement, and digital literacy.

We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level.
  • Proven leadership experience within a school or department.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to raising standards.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Willingness to travel from Northamptonshire if required (own transport essential).
