Teaching Tomorrow are working with a great primary school in Aylesbury who are looking for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team two days-a-week for the summer term.

This role begins in April and is the perfect KS1 teaching role for someone needing flexibility, but still enjoying their love for teaching.

Teaching Tomorrow is an agency with a great reputation within Aylesbury and have a strong relationship with this primary school, ensuring great support throughout the process.

This primary school is looking for someone who is comfortable teaching KS1 and you will NOT have extra responsibilities. This is a great role for a teacher who is looking for a fresh start for the summer term.

You must be a fully qualified teacher for the role and obtain a QTS number.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT
  • Strong and successful EYFS / Year 1 / Key Stage 1 teaching experience
  • Must be available four or five days a week
  • Comfortable covering lessons across the national UK curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons for Year 1 pupils
  • Assess and mark student work effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and support teams
  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Contribute to the positive learning environment
