Our partners in the UK are looking to strengthen their performance marketing agency with an E-Commerce Ads Expert who’s full of drive and determination.
The ideal candidate will develop, implement, track and manage paid search campaigns for a portfolio of clients within an agency environment. This opportunity provides excellent experience to a wide range of clients in the e-commerce space.
Key attributes
This role involves managing significant advertising budgets, optimising campaigns, and employing creative strategies to maximise e-commerce and sales performance across search engines.
How you’ll contribute
- Launch, manage, and optimise search campaigns with a monthly budget of over £30,000.
- Manage and optimise comprehensive paid search campaigns across search, display, programmatic, shopping, and video platforms to drive targeted traffic and maximise ROI.
- Focus on high-converting strategies and continuous improvement of ROI.
- Research keywords and manage bids (add PPC keywords and negative keywords). Optimise bidding at keywords, placement, device, geographic, demographic, and other levels.
- Perform daily account management of PPC campaigns (review expensive under-performing keywords and ensure PPC campaign is within weekly and monthly ad spend budgets, maintain Quality Score, impression share and other important metrics.
- Devise and implement effective A/B tests to optimise conversion rates.
- Write engaging and concise copy, and modify CTAs to boost click-through rates + conversion rates.
- Monitor, evaluate, and present the performance of campaigns by generating weekly and monthly performance reports for managers, analysing trends, goals, opportunities, and other key performance indicators.
- Use Google Ads reporting tools and Google Analytics 4 to monitor campaign performance, adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Create automated workflows in Google Analytics with Campaign Monitor integration.
- Stay on top of search engine and PPC industry trends.
- Create conversion tracking tags with the help of Google Tag Manager and then import them to GA4 and other paid channels. (Basic support is available for Google Tag Manager setups)
- Manage and optimise product feeds in the Google Merchant Center. Utilise Performance Max campaigns to ensure broad and effective product visibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years of work experience, preferably as a PPC executive/associate or Media Buyer
- Candidate must possess excellent quantitative analytical skills - be able to understand raw data and draw insightful conclusions.
- Command over Google Ads (Search 360, DV360, Youtube, Shopping, etc), Google Ads Manager, Data Studio, Google Tag Manager, Performance Max, and Bing Ads is a must.
- Have a good understanding of Universal Analytics and Google Analytics 4 is also necessary. Must be able to create reports and conversion events on GA4.
- Have experience working with Google Suite, Slack, Monday.com, Trello etc. or similar communication and project management tools.
- Bonus: While not a primary focus, experience in lead generation ads is a bonus.

- Proven experience managing large-scale PPC campaigns in an agency setting.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing and PPC.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday - 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM BST
Friday - 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM BST
Base Salary: 190k - 240k (negotiable)
