Social Media Video Editor / Creative Designer
(project based, 2 - months)
Overview
We’re looking for an agency-experienced Social Media Video Editor / Creative Designer with a strong eye for short-form content and brand consistency.
This role is hands-on and execution-focused. You’ll take raw footage from content creators, follow clear briefs and reference examples, and turn that content into high-performing short-form social videos and static creatives across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing (Primary Focus)
- Edit raw social media footage into short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts
- Follow detailed editing briefs, reference examples, and brand guidelines provided by the social media team
- Apply platform-appropriate pacing, captions, transitions, and visual treatments
- Ensure edits are optimised for engagement while staying aligned with brand tone
Static Social Creative
- Create static social media creatives that align visually with video content and overall brand identity
- Adapt creative formats for different platforms while maintaining consistency
- Work within existing brand guidelines rather than reinventing styles
Collaboration & Workflow Ownership
- Work closely with:
- Social Media Content Creators (who film the content)
- Social Media Copywriters / Schedulers (who write captions and schedules)
- Upload all finished video and static creatives to Rella (social media scheduling tool)
- Ensure assets are clearly named, correctly formatted, and ready for internal and client review before publishing
Tools & Platforms
You’ll be confident using:
- CapCut (Desktop)
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Canva
Experience switching between tools depending on project needs is expected.
Industry Exposure (Preferred)
Experience working with clients in one or more of the following industries is a strong plus:

Experience & Skills
Must-haves
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an agency environment
- Strong short-form video editing skills for social media
- Ability to follow creative briefs precisely and work from reference examples
- Good understanding of platform-specific content formats
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple projects
Nice-to-haves
- Experience uploading and managing content within social media scheduling tools
- Basic understanding of what performs well across different social platforms
- Ability to give light creative input when required (without deviating from the brief)

- Clean, consistent edits delivered on time
- Creative that matches brand guidelines without repeated revisions
- Smooth handover between video, static creative, and scheduling
- Minimal back-and-forth due to strong attention to detail
Working hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm BST
Base Monthly Salary: 200,000 - 250,000 PKR
