What You’ll Do:
As a Video Editor, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual content for TEDxGateway and EDGE Community. Your responsibilities will include:
Main Responsibilities:-
- Edit Main TEDxGateway Talk Videos: Edit and prepare TEDxGateway talk videos for publication on the TEDx YouTube channel, ensuring high-quality and engaging content.
- Create and Edit Highlight Reels, Trailers, and Promotional Videos: Develop and edit highlight reels, trailers, and promotional videos for TEDxGateway and EDGE Community events, showcasing key moments and enhancing event visibility.
- Produce Highlight Reels for EDGE Community Events: Generate engaging highlight reels that capture the essence of EDGE Community events and promote their impact.
- Edit Videos for Social Media Platforms: Focus on creating engaging and optimized video content for social media platforms to boost audience reach and interaction.
- Create Videos for Internal Promotional Use: Develop videos for internal marketing purposes and promotional campaigns, aligning with organizational goals.
- Edit Podcasts and Create Podcast Reels: Edit podcast episodes and create captivating podcast reels to enhance listener engagement.
- Assist with Video Content Production: Support the creation of video content that will be officially published, ensuring adherence to high production standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Content and Marketing Teams: Work closely with the content and marketing teams to ensure video content aligns with overall branding and messaging strategies.
- Stay Updated with Video Editing Trends: Keep abreast of the latest video editing trends and techniques to continuously bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table.
- Manage Video Assets: Organize and maintain a digital library of video files, ensuring efficient asset management and easy retrieval.
Who You Are:
- At least 2 years of experience in Video editing field.
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and optimization techniques for different platforms.
- Possess a creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and storytelling, able to craft compelling and engaging video content.
- Ability to work effectively with content and marketing teams, bringing fresh ideas and ensuring alignment with overall branding.
- Open to learning and applying the latest video editing trends and techniques.

Portfolio Requirement: Candidates must submit a sample of their best work, ideally showcasing an Instagram reel, highlight reel, or podcast video they are most proud of.
