Tended is growing quickly and we're now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our technology by identifying new opportunities and securing new deployments across the UK and beyond.
Why are we hiring a Business Development Manager?
We’re now looking to build on our strong position and scale up our footprint across Network Rail, principal contractors and international rail markets.
We’re looking to hire an experienced enterprise salesperson to join our existing sales team. You’ll rapidly drive sustainable revenue growth, gain an in-depth understanding of client challenges and help them adopt our technology that is set to change the safety industry forever.
You can expect to play a significant role in the development of strategy, being the voice of the customer within Tended, and helping us to continually innovate and improve.
What we are looking for
We’re looking for someone with a passion in safety and technology, ideally with the experience of working in the railway or construction industries. You’ll know how to successfully implement a technology driven initiative, with a demonstrable record of being an excellent relationship builder, establishing and navigating commercial relationships with large, complex enterprises.
We are looking for someone who is genuinely curious, empathetic and driven every day to improve. You’ll be a natural collaborator and problem-solver, finding it easy to steer complex organisations and decision-making processes to identify and qualify opportunities, map stakeholders and risks to close a sales deal.
You will also balance a winning mentality with the strong ethical focus of a safety-oriented organisation. We would expect you to challenge assumptions and passionately communicate our vision, proposition and values.
