Role closes for applications midnight Sunday 28th July
At Tended, we create first-of-a-kind safety systems that use some of the most advanced technologies on the market to transform rail worker safety. Our flagship geofencing solution has been named as one of TIME’s Best Inventions 2023 and has made it onto the Digital Leaders 100 list for Geospatial Initiative of the Year 2023.
We’re a venture-backed scale-up with an incredible team and work alongside industry-leading organisations in the rail sector to innovate and bring rail workers home safe every day. We put our people first through flexible and remote working, mental health policies and social activities.
Tended is growing quickly and we need experienced project managers to support our technology deployments on client sites across the UK.
We’re looking for experienced project managers who have the ability to embed our technology into our clients’ business-as-usual operations.
You’ll be an excellent communicator who can develop and own key relationships across all layers of the rail industry, from senior leadership to front line workers. As the driver of change, you’ll develop a deep understanding of a client's day-to-day needs, and coach them through implementations and beyond.
This is a high-impact role requiring a hands-on approach. We’re looking for people who roll their sleeves up and get stuck in to make sure their clients are ready to use Tended’s technology to reduce incidents and save lives. You’ll also help uncover new use cases and value-adding features, working cross-departmentally with Engineering, Product and the broader Commercial team.
If you’re comfortable working trackside alongside our client users, we will support you to gain qualifications such as Personal Track Safety (PTS).
This is a UK remote-based role with the expectation of client site visits around the country, and possibly occasional international visits. Please note some client-facing work will take place at weekends and/or overnight during live deployment. We have excellent policies for expenses such as travel, accommodation and subsistence, as well as for fatigue management and time off in lieu (TOIL).
Even if you don’t feel you have all of the requirements listed below, we’d encourage you to apply, as we’re looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow with us.
