About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in automating and optimizing development operations, infrastructure management, and deployment pipelines. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in improving system reliability, scalability, and security while mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Infrastructure Automation: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Cloud Management: Architect and manage scalable cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Monitoring & Logging: Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Containerization: Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Security: Enforce best practices for security in the CI/CD process and across infrastructure.
- Collaboration: Partner with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable system integration and delivery.
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and participate in on-call rotation.
- Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles.
- Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.), and strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
- Tools: Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, or similar.
- Cloud: Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
- IaC: Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
- Containers: Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Networking: Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, and load balancers.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKAD/CKA, or equivalent.
- Experience with serverless technologies and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of compliance standards like SOC2, ISO27001, or GDPR.
