Our client is currently seeking an AP/AR Specialist with a clear understanding of accounting, and who will be performing general accounting tasks, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial/accounting needs.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare paper check and EFT checks run, includes scheduling all invoices for payment based on payment terms, printing checks and entering EFT payments into online banking
- Accounts receivable and payable processing for entire portfolio
- Perform AR review and collection
- Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Keep records of invoices, issued POs and support documents
- Support annual audit and financier’s field exam process
- Works with sales and operations teams to troubleshoot customer account issues
- Works with customer and external collection agents to resolve past due accounts as needed on problem accounts
- Reconciles supplier accounts and works to resolve discrepancies
- Process all vendor invoices including matching purchase order receipts, packing slips, and invoice for accuracy and validity of payment
This position is available due to the current growth of the business. Aptos anticipates further high growth in the market within the next two+ years. There may be the possibility to move into a different role if one becomes available, or for you to expand into a more senior one
