We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial Sales Engineer. In this role, you will:
--Build the company's business by growing new business and leveraging existing business across a portfolio of products and services: As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while also nurturing existing client relationships. You will work closely with a team of Application Engineers to ensure the best approach to market their product portfolio.
--Own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals: You will be accountable for achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. This includes developing and implementing effective sales strategies, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
--Cultivate and deepen client relationships and partnerships: Building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients is crucial. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, providing exceptional customer service, and fostering partnerships that result in client satisfaction and loyalty.
--Promote and support the company's consulting services in the industry: You will actively promote and support the company's consulting services to clients, highlighting the value they bring and assisting in the identification of consulting opportunities.
--Define new market potential for future software development: As a Sales Engineer, you will have a keen eye for market trends and customer needs. You will play a vital role in identifying new market potential and providing valuable insights to the product development team for future software enhancements.

• You have a Chemical Engineering (or other technical) degree (B.S. and/or M.S.) with at least 2 years' experience in engineering, sales, or marketing: Ideally you have a solid educational background in Chemical Engineering combined with experience in a technical sales or marketing role will equip you with the necessary foundation to succeed in this position.
• Knowledge of the Oil, Gas, and Chemicals Industries: Familiarity with the oil, gas, and chemicals industries is essential to understand the unique challenges and requirements of potential clients and to effectively communicate the value of their products and services.
• You are a creative, enthusiastic thinker with a thirst for knowledge and further personal development: The company is seeking an individual who brings a fresh and innovative perspective to sales. Your curiosity, passion for learning, and proactive approach to personal development will contribute to your success in this role.
• Demonstrable success in selling/licensing enterprise solutions to corporate clients: Prior experience in selling or licensing enterprise solutions to corporate clients is highly desirable. You should have a track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
