Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and tech-savvy Grants Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in preparing for upcoming contracts on grants and managing the overall grant process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to leverage technology to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Grant Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of grant applications, from identifying funding opportunities to submission and follow-up.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the accounting department to ensure seamless financial tracking, reporting, and compliance in all grants-related activities.
- Technology Utilization: Demonstrate expertise in utilizing technology tools such as ChatGPT, grant management software, and project management platforms to improve processes and outcomes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed records of grant applications, agreements, and financial reports as needed for accountability and transparency.
- Analytical Support: Analyze grant eligibility and requirements, ensuring that all applications meet the necessary criteria and legal obligations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and recommend new tools or strategies to optimize grant management efforts.
- Education and Training: Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices in grant management and the effective use of technology.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience managing grants, including writing, submission, tracking, and compliance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Public Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience also considered.
- Tech Fluency: Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT), databases, and automation to improve personal and team productivity.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in articulating complex information clearly.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess grant eligibility, interpret requirements, and create data-backed recommendations.
- Autonomy & Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, remote environments with changing priorities and can work independently.
