The JAM is seeking an experienced Staff Technical Program Manager to join a pioneering Series B robotics and automation company at the forefront of revolutionizing manufacturing and logistics. This role offers the unique opportunity to work directly with the CTO, serving as a Strategic partner overseeing a diverse portfolio of programs that combine hardware & software.
The Role
In this leadership position, you’ll manage high-priority programs blending hardware production, industrial automation deployment, and selective software development initiatives. You will oversee the scaling of a state-of-the-art assembly shop, lead procurement and supply chain strategy, standardize project roadmaps, and ensure seamless collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Oversee multiple cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budget targets, and quality standards.
- Assembly Scaling: Plan and coordinate material procurement, build schedules, testing timelines, and workforce requirements to scale complex assembly operations.
- Procurement & Supply Chain: Identify and onboard suppliers, negotiate contracts, and optimize supply chain strategies to minimize risk and lead times.
- Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain project roadmaps to ensure alignment across technical and operational teams.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate smooth handoffs between engineering and production while maintaining executive-level reporting.
- Technical Engagement: Participate in technical discussions to help shape design, implementation, and deployment decisions.
What You Bring
- 5+ years in program/project management within robotics, manufacturing, or industrial automation.
- Degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field (strongly preferred).
- Proven success managing complex programs in high-autonomy environments.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Notion, Asana, etc.) and Agile/hybrid methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with senior leadership.
Nice to Have
- Experience in robotics assembly, machine shop operations, or complex system integration. (Integrator or OEM experience very preferred).
- Understanding of both hardware and software program management.
- Knowledge of supply chain management for technical products.
