At The Pique Lab, we’re on a mission to create the best Math & Science learning experiences for students aged 9 to 16 in Singapore. Our lessons are meticulously crafted based on pedagogical research, data-driven methodologies & have one overarching goal: to make learning fun, shorten learning curves & help students develop a genuine appreciation for Math & Science.
Over the past decade, we've grown from a pair of co-founders to a diverse team of over 100 team members across 10 departments. Our proprietary learning methodology & examination-centric materials have helped more than 20,000 students ace their examinations.

[Your Role]
In this role, you’ll be working closely with your fellow Motion Graphics Artists to co-create fantastic animation projects around various Science/Math concepts and courses. You’ll be working on the entire gamut of animation production from conceptualisation & storyboarding to making our illustrations come alive with your expertise!
- Turn ordinary classroom Science/Math topics into creative and engaging kid-friendly Science/Math videos.
- Transform static assets into dancing tidbits of joy for our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook and TikTok).
- Produce lively motion graphics to supplement the videos produced by the Video Production Team.
We’ve received plenty of raving reviews for our learning videos, which have amassed more than 1.3 million views! They’re being used in classrooms internationally to pique students’ interest and facilitate students’ understanding of various Science and Math topics.

Skills
Required:
- Intermediate proficiency in Adobe After Effects & basic proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Great eye for colours, compositional lines and typography
- Strong background in character puppet rigging
- Able to apply the theories/ concepts of animation on related projects.
- Able to apply the basic pipeline/workflows of creating a child-friendly, creative, infographic video animation (conceptualisation, scripts, storyboarding, guiding the Design Team in asset production, animation, minor video editing, BGM, SFX)
- Able to collaborate with different teams to ensure all assets involved in the project will be available for the final output.
- Familiar with importing/arranging .ai assets for animation in After Effects.
- Strong command of the English language (both written & spoken)
- Must have a strong internet connection (50 mbps and up) to be able to sync large files.
Good To Have:
- Familiar with DUIK, Rubberhose, Overlord, Joysticks n' Sliders
- Decent draftsmanship/drawing skills to create quality pre-production materials such as storyboards and initial character concepts in collaboration with the Design Team
- Basic scripting in After Effects (Expressions)
- Familiar with creating dynamic "non-video editor-friendly" Motion Graphic Templates or .mogrt files.

- Above-Market Remuneration: PHP 50,000/ month (upon confirmation) fixed monthly salary
