You'll be part of a team known for working on some of the rarest and most notable cars in history. Featured on "Richard Hammond's Workshop," our team is dedicated to preserving automotive history with expertise and care.
You'll work with a team that shares your passion for classic car restoration. Collaborating closely with Richard, you'll help restore, revive, and protect automotive history working on a range of projects from humble but treasured classics to outstandingly rare racers.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Qualified painter with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Expertise in sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces before painting.
- Ability to mix and match paint colours accurately.
- Proficiency in using spray guns and other painting equipment.
- Skilled in applying primer, base coat, and clear coat.
- Competence in blending and fading colours for a seamless finish.
- Familiarity with different paint types, such as enamel, lacquer, and urethane.
- Keen eye for identifying minor defects and ensuring precision
- Clear communication skills to convey technical information to clients.
- Strong problem-solving, organisational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in an engaging work environment with a positive and can-do attitude
- Live within a commutable distance from Hereford or are willing to relocate.
