If you love restoring classic cars and have a lot of experience as a Panel Beater, The Smallest Cog has a great job opportunity for you. 

 

You'll be part of a team known for working on some of the rarest and most notable cars in history. Featured on "Richard Hammond's Workshop," our team is dedicated to preserving automotive history with expertise and care.

You'll work with a team that shares your passion for classic car restoration. Collaborating closely with Richard, you'll help restore, revive, and protect automotive history working on a range of projects from humble but treasured classics to outstandingly rare racers.

 

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Qualified Panel Beater with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Highly skilled in shaping and repairing metal panels.
  • Ability to assess and devise repair strategies.
  • Skilled in using hand tools and machinery for body repairs.
  • Experience in sourcing and replacing damaged vehicle parts.
  • A high level of competence in welding and soldering techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected issues.
  • Keen eye for identifying minor defects and ensuring precision
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in an engaging work environment with a positive and can-do attitude
  • Live within a commutable distance from Hereford or are willing to relocate.
