Job Title: IT Assistant

We are seeking a tech-savvy and highly motivated individual to join our team as an IT Assistant. As the rapidly growing world of technology continues to evolve, we are looking for someone who is able to adapt and keep up with the latest trends and advancements. The ideal candidate will be passionate about all things IT and have the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users via email, phone, or in-person
- Keep track of inventory and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and accounted for
- Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions for various systems
- Assist with training and providing technical support to users on new software and equipment
- Conduct network and system backups and updates on a regular basis
- Monitor network and system performance and report any issues to the IT Manager
- Assist with the development and implementation of information security policies and procedures
- Maintain documentation and records of all IT-related activities
- Keep up-to-date with new technology developments and make recommendations for improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- 2+ years of experience working in a similar role
- Proficient in Windows and MacOS operating systems
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, and database management
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with cloud-based systems and virtualization is a plus
Salary
$120,000 - $180,000
