About the role
You will be responsible for defining, planning, implementing, and operating automated infrastructure and processes at scale. You will create and maintain IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) environments on premise as well as on Cloud PaaS (Platform as a Service) providers that meet SLAs (Service Level Agreements), support the resource requirements of the developers, engage in some QA (Quality Assurance) activities. You will also be integrated in the Customer Value Realization team, enabling CI/CD, meeting compliance parameters and best practice standards, ensuring the proper documentation for the whole team to use.
You will often have to lead proof of concepts and first-of-a-kind activities to validate product concepts.
Applicant's Profile:
It is essential for the role that you are experienced in:
- Amazon Web Services including ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, Networking and IAM
- Linux OS and open-source ecosystem
- Automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible and GitLab
It would be great if you are also experienced in:
- Managing teams as manager or team lead
- Shell scripting (sh/bash) and Python scripting
- System automation for scalable environments
- Designing and implementing GitOps processes
- Continuous integration and testing (preferably with GitLab-CI)
- Networking and Security threat models
