Under direct supervision of the VP Technology, is responsible for supporting test center activities in process development, process improvements, operations and maintenance. This is an opportunity to gain experience in a hands on, fast paced environment for college students preparing for a career in Chemical Engineering.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide support for pilot plant operations and laboratory experiments to test and verify equipment operating parameters.
- Assist with process validation tests in the lab or in the pilot plant by developing a test method, preparing equipment, recording data and reporting results.
- Assist in maintenance of existing equipment and development of new equipment.
- Work in a safe manner at all times in both the pilot plant and the laboratory.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from an accredited program with at least two years of post secondary education.
- Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
