We are hiring on behalf of a client seeking a qualified and compassionate Behaviour Therapist to support individuals with behavioral challenges. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, youth, or adults through evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized behaviour intervention plans.
- Implement Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and other evidence-based strategies to support clients.
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent intervention.
- Track and analyze client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Provide training and support to caregivers, educators, or support workers to maintain consistency in intervention approaches.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records in accordance with professional and ethical guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in behavioural therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Education, or a related field.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT), or equivalent is an asset.
- Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or other behavioural challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and families.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized behaviour plans.
- Understanding of ethical standards and privacy regulations related to therapy services.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (if required for in-home or community-based sessions).
