Job Summary

Are you the person in a fast-paced restaurant who ensures every plate is perfect before it leaves the kitchen? The one who spots the missing garnish or the smudge on the rim? We're looking for that same level of precision, urgency, and obsessive attention to detail for our collection of premium short-term rentals.

 

As our Guest Readiness Coordinator, you are the final checkpoint between our cleaning team and our guests' arrival. You are the guardian of PillowPM's 5-star reputation, responsible for ensuring every property is not just clean, but immaculately staged, fully stocked, and in perfect working order. You’ll travel between our Atlanta properties in a company vehicle, ensuring every location is flawless for guest arrival. This role is a unique blend of hospitality, quality control, and hands-on problem-solving.

 

What You’ll Do: Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance & Staging: Conduct meticulous post-cleaning quality inspections to ensure each property meets our 5-star standards, from pillow placement to spotless surfaces.
  • Property Presentation: Artfully stage properties to match our listing photos, ensuring a "wow" moment for every guest upon arrival. This includes arranging decor, setting thermostats, and creating a welcoming ambiance.
  • Inventory & Restocking: Manage and restock a consistent inventory of guest supplies (e.g., coffee, paper towels, toiletries) across our properties, ensuring nothing is ever overlooked.
  • Light Maintenance: Serve as our first line of defense for minor issues. Perform light maintenance tasks including:
    • Minor paint touch-ups and scuff removal.
    • Changing light bulbs and smoke detector batteries.
    • Replacing HVAC air filters.
    • Troubleshooting basic Wi-Fi or TV remote issues.
  • Communication & Coordination: Act as the "eyes and ears" on the ground, communicating effectively with our cleaning partners and management team. You’ll report any maintenance needs that are beyond your scope and flag any recurring issues.
  • Documentation: Use a smartphone to document property condition with photos and complete digital inspection checklists for every turnover.

Who You Are: Qualifications & Skills

  • An Expeditor’s Mindset: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have an almost supernatural attention to detail. Experience as a restaurant expeditor, server, host, or barista is highly valued.
  • Handy & Proactive: You are comfortable with basic tools and enjoy solving practical problems. You don't wait to be told to change a flickering bulb—you just do it.
  • Reliable & Independent: You are a self-starter who can manage your own time and tasks efficiently without direct supervision.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using smartphone apps for communication, navigation, and checklists.
  • Must-Haves:
    • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
    • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (e.g., supply boxes, small tools).
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
