Location: We’re based in Caerphilly in Wales, United Kingdom. But this vacancy is open to local applicants as well as freelance developers around the world.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Development Operations Engineer with excellent PHP and WordPress experience to join a team behind some of the world’s most-installed WordPress plugins: UpdraftPlus, WP-Optimize and All-in-One WP Security (see www.teamupdraft.com).

Responsibilities
- Define and develop a suite of continuous integration tests.
- Work with the development team and technical lead to define the needs and assist with roadmap planning for CI testing across multiple products.
- Develop tests, making use of supported industry-standard tools where possible.
- Carry out integration testing.
- Ensure that integration testing is run effectively. This is likely to include manual execution of some tests until fully automated testing is achieved.
- Manage metrics that illustrate the effectiveness of integration testing.
Experience
- You should be familiar with Gulp, NPM and Docker.
- Experience of Continuous Integration (CI)
- Troubleshooting skills with NPM Package Manager.
- Experience of WordPress plugin development.
- Familiar with GitLab CI and GitLab API, but not necessary.
