A newly created role to Updraft, the HR Administrator will be the first point of contact for all employee related issues. You will assist with the day to day running of the HR function, responsibilities will include recruitment, the organisation and updating of company policies and documents, coordinating appraisals, assisting HR related questions/issues, organising team events.
Main Responsibilities
- Admin of recruitment, selection and the onboarding process
- Help develop the organisational structure to support future growth
- Coordinate of Updraft’s appraisal system and arranging appraisal meetings with line managers
- Assisting with engagement and welfare activities, maximising productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers and building leadership capability
- Helping to ensure that Updraft’s procedures comply with employment regulations
- Assisting with monitoring various aspects of an employee’s performance, such as attendance and sick leave
- Record requsts for training and liaise with line managers where relevant
- Develop and continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary
- Manage our HR Database
- Be responsible for the onboarding and exit processes for staff
- Contribute to a positive working environment
Requirements
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in an HR or related role
- People oriented and results driven
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Excellent listening and time management skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent
