Work right on the beach as a host at one of Naples' most prestigious fine dining restaurants! Our hosts warmly greet and seat guests upon arrival. Assist in assuring guests are attended to, and assists in maintaining the cleanliness and ambiance of the dining area. Answer phones in a professional manner and take dinner reservations.
HOURS/DAYS
Hours and days fluctuate according to the wants and needs of the restaurant.
Must be willing to work weekends ( Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) Also Holidays!!!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Warmly greets guests upon arrival, by name when possible and/or appropriate.
2. Seats guests upon arrival in accordance with company policy. Seats guests using functions in Tock program.
3. Manages waiting guests appropriately and in a courteous manner.
4. Ensures that seated guests are promptly visited by the server covering their table; assists in locating the server when necessary.
5. Suggests and describes various appetizers, entrees, desserts, alcoholic beverages and wine to members and guests as appropriate.
6. Inspect menus daily for proper cleanliness.
7. Handles guest complaints and problems appropriately, and notifies manager promptly.
8. Assures all safety, accident and emergency policies and procedures are consistently followed.
9. Inspects dining room to ensure proper maintenance of a clean and orderly area.
10. Suggests dining room decorations for special themes.
11. Answers the telephone in a professional manner. Takes dinner reservations using Tock reservation system. Enters information into the system that is provided by servers after guests leave to ensure that service notes are properly recorded.
12. Assists with table clearing and resetting as needed.
13. Works all scheduled shifts (no changes permitted without manager approval).
14. Complies with dress code requirements.
15. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must have food and beverage experience. Excellent communication skills are essential. Must be a team player and customer service oriented.

Physical activities required on a daily basis will consist of standing and walking for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 30 – 40 pounds. Must be able to work long hours during the season.
