We are seeking a committed Project Engineer to support scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project precision and quality. The Project Engineer will oversee the engineering and technical aspects of ongoing projects and set inspection criteria to ensure proper implementation of all project elements.
To succeed in this role, you should be capable of handling multi-discipline projects and exhibit strong project management and supervisory skills. Additionally, excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making abilities are essential.
Responsibilities Product Development Engineer
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering projects.
- Defining project parameters, assigning tasks to the most qualified team members, and overseeing their performance.
- Engaging with clients to understand their needs and requirements, and representing these interests in the field.
- Conducting quality control on budgets, schedules, plans, and team performance, and reporting on project status.
- Collaborating with the project manager and other team members, and working with senior engineers to enhance project methods and maintain profitability.
- Reviewing engineering tasks and implementing necessary corrective actions.
- Developing specifications for required project equipment.
- Designing frameworks for measuring project metrics and collecting data.
- Establishing field test methods and quality monitoring procedures.
- Ensuring project compliance with relevant codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A valid engineering license.
- At least 4 years of field and project planning experience.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in design and visualization software.
- Experience managing multi-discipline projects.
- Proven project management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
