We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our growing team.  

 

An experienced PHP developer with 7+ Years of commercial coding experience you will write beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways. You will be dedicated to your craft, write great clean code, and be capable of hitting the ground running.

 

You will be a part of a full-stack creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through development, testing, and launch.

Responsibilities

  • Write “clean”, well-designed code
  • Produce detailed specifications
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Follow industry best practices
  • Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

 

Requirements

  • Proven software development experience in PHP
  • High-level English languages skills (Written & Spoken)
  • Clear and Confident communicator comfortable with group meetings in Slack/Google Meet and face to face in teams.
  • Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc
  • Demonstrable knowledge and competence in use of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, etc
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and developing web services
  • Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay, etc)
  • REST & SOAP API Development
  • Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

 

Additionally advantageous:

 

Analytical thinking skills

Knowledge of Laravel framework

Knowledge of the AWS cloud

Knowledge of Doctrine ORM

Knowledge of DDD

Knowledge of package management tools (Composer, npm) and task automation tools (Gulp, Grunt)

Knowledge of automation (Docker, Continuous Integration)

Knowledge of PHPUnit, Laravel Automated Testing
