The Video Editor Entry-Level at Watermark Books & Cafe is tasked with executing and delivering highly engaging videos that convey our brand, projects, and mission. This role will be pivotal in the creative process, from brainstorming, conceptualization, and production to post-production enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, storyboard, edit, and finalize videos that align with our marketing efforts and brand standards. These could include promotional content, company event highlights, product advertisements, and social media clips.
• Work closely with our marketing team to understand the desired output and create a video that meets objectives. This includes planning, scripting, filming, and editing the content.
• Design and produce motion graphics for video introductions, transitions, and effects.
• Manage the post-production process, including selecting appropriate music or sound effects, cleaning up footage, color grading, sound mixing, and final edits.
• Ensure all videos are delivered on time while adhering to high-quality standards.
• Archive produced images and videos in an organized manner for future use.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Video Production, Film Studies, Cinematography or a related field.
• Some level of professional experience producing and editing high-quality videos, with a strong portfolio as proof.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, After Effects or similar.
• Excellent storyboarding and visualizing skills.
• Strong understanding of modern video production processes and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining strict attention to detail.
• Strong collaborative skills to work in a team as well as excellent communication skills.
