Business Development Responsibilities


The primary responsibilities of the Junior Business Development Associate Include:

  • Working with our Marketing team on various events
  • Interacting with clients and customers on a daily basis
  • Identifying new sales leads
  • Pitching products and/or services
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
     

When it comes to team leadership, day-to-day duties Junior Business Development Associate tasks typically include:

  • Coach and train junior staff members on POS and SOPs
  • Product demonstrations
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport
  • Working on new marketing initiatives
  • Attending conferences and sales and marketing events

 

When it comes to the challenge of actually selling, other typical duties include:

  • Preparing presentations and sales displays
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company's products
  • Developing quotes and proposals
  • Maintaining client relationships to boost retention
  • Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
