WeVideo is looking for a Product Manager, Individual Contributor. You will be responsible for our K-12 Education product development strategy and delivering the related product roadmap and business impact as the Product Owner of the K-12 team.

 

This role requires you to be highly adaptive, good at communicating and coordinating across teams, and an organized time-manager to deliver on high-growth expectations. This role is fully remote and open to candidates in the US; may require quarterly travel.

 

Experience and Responsibilities: 

 

In this role we need someone with proven PM experience to be responsible for:

  • Identifying K-12 user needs and turning those into justified business opportunity
  • Working directly with cross-functional teams to build a strategic roadmap as the product owner
  • Evaluating and reporting on product development investments, and making necessary optimizations
  • This role owns product success for our Education users
  • You will use technology for roadmap development, sprint planning and execution, and communicating regularly about product updates and impact
  • You must be customer-focused, technical, and execution-oriented; able to triangulate resources, time, and quality to deliver real customer value
  • You will be evaluated on team efficiency and business growth
  • You will be part of the overall product leadership team

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of PM software experience
  • Growth mindset, deeply familiar with agile development practices
  • Demonstrable experience writing technical and UX specs, building roadmaps, and representing work in terms of business impact
  • Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Analytics tools, and GSuite
  • Skilled and confident group communicator in settings from Slack to company all-hands meetings
  • Collaborative attitude that prioritizes the total growth of the company and team
  • Experience in EdTech, K-12, and SaaS a plus
