    Position: Financial Analyst - Wingspan Life Resources

    Wingspan Life Resources is seeking a highly-skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. As a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, Wingspan provides a wide range of services including residential care, employment opportunities, and social and recreational activities. We are looking for a talented individual who shares our passion for making a positive impact in the community through financial analysis and strategic decision-making. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
  • Creating and maintaining financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on financial data
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports to management and stakeholders
  • Monitoring and reviewing financial performance against budget and prior year
  • Conducting cost-benefit analysis for potential projects and initiatives
  • Collaborating with different departments to gather and analyze financial data
  • Assisting in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline financial operations
  • Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis or related role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of non-profit finance and accounting principles is a plus
  • Experience with financial software such as QuickBooks or SAP is preferred
