As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing urgent medical care to patients who require immediate attention due to injuries or illnesses. This will include assessing patients' conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, administering appropriate treatments, and managing patient care in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
In addition to your clinical duties, you will also play a vital role in working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals such as nurses and paramedics to ensure efficient and effective patient care. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records of patient treatment and follow all necessary protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety.
To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who have completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree and have completed a residency program in Emergency Medicine. You must also have a valid medical license and be board-certified in Emergency Medicine.
