- Provide medical care to premature or critically ill newborns in the NICU
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for each patient
- Monitor and manage neonatal patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing education and emotional support
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Train and supervise medical staff, including residents, students, and nurses
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Current state medical license
- Proficiency in neonatal procedures, including intubation and chest tube placement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
