- Conduct consultations and examinations to determine the best course of treatment for patients
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures including but not limited to tooth extractions, dental implants, and corrective jaw surgeries
- Collaborate with other dental and medical professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of oral maxillofacial surgery and implement new techniques as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and communicate effectively with patients and their families throughout the treatment process
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree
- Completion of a residency program in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery
- Current license to practice in the state
- Strong surgical skills and experience in a variety of procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of medical professionals
