Job Description:
In this role, you will provide specialized medical care for infants, children, and adolescents in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices. The ideal candidate will have a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young patients and their families, as well as a strong passion for paediatrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine check-ups on patients and document their growth and development
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions common in children
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and x-rays
- Prescribe and administer medications, as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and specialists, to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Educate parents and guardians on proper nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention for children
- Keep accurate and updated medical records for each patient
- Stay current on latest advancements and research in paediatric medicine
- Participate in conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Valid medical license and Board certification in Paediatrics
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paediatrician
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong diagnostic and decision-making abilities
- Empathy and patience for working with patients and their families
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
