We are seeking an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support specific children with special educational needs to allow them to participate fully in and benefit from learning within class lessons. This role involves the adaptation of tasks and taking into consideration the needs and capabilities of individual children under the guidance of the Class Teacher and/or SENDCo. A vital element of the role is building long-term relationships with the children and observing individual children to understand and create a picture of their development, ability and any barriers to how they learn.

Annual Leave: 28 days (inclusive of bank holidays) in the first year, 31 days in the second year before rising to 33 days after 3 years (pro-rata). There will be a 12 month probationary period.
Position: Part time: 32.5 hours (0.928 FTE) - worked Monday to Friday in school - 08.30 - 15.30
