WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING?

We are seeking a versatile Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in PHP (Laravel) and Vue.js to join our Efficiencies Team. 

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and refining internal tooling and operational efficiencies. You'll be engaged in full-stack development, contributing to both front-end and back-end aspects of our applications, using technologies such as PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, MySQL, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD.
 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance internal tools and applications, focusing on both front-end (Vue.js) and back-end (PHP, Laravel) development to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the efficiencies team and other departments to understand their needs and translate them into functional, reliable tech solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that adheres to software development best practices.
• Optimise and maintain databases (MySQL and MongoDB) to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Utilise Docker for effective deployment and management of applications in a containerized environment.
• Leverage AWS services for the development and deployment of cloud-based applications and tools.
• Engage in CI/CD processes to ensure streamlined and consistent delivery of software updates.
• Manage code and collaborate with team members using Git for version control.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in software development, proactively suggesting improvements to our tech stack and development processes.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Proven experience in full-stack development, with a strong background in PHP (Laravel) and Vue.js.
• Familiarity with the design, development, and maintenance of internal tools and systems aimed at improving operational efficiencies.
• Skilled in front-end development, particularly in creating responsive and dynamic user interfaces with Vue.js.
• Proficient in back-end development, with a solid understanding of PHP and Laravel.
• Experience in database design and management, specifically with MySQL
• Competency in using Docker for containerisation and deployment.
• Knowledge of AWS services for building and deploying cloud-based solutions.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools for automated software deployment.
• Effective use of Git for version control and team collaboration.
• Experience with low code and no code solutions for creating tooling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen interest in continuous learning and improvement within an agile development framework.
